Before/After Ad Prompts: Copy-Paste Examples
Transformation ad prompts you can paste straight into Claude
Before/after ads compress your whole value proposition into one visual cut — and you can generate them by pasting a prompt into Claude once Polaris is connected. Add the MCP connector, attach a product photo, paste a prompt below, tap the settings cards, and the transformation ad renders in a live panel right in the chat.
How to use these prompts
Each prompt defines both states — the messy before and the resolved after — because the contrast is the ad. Swap the bracketed product, keep the two-state structure, and let Claude handle the rest. One caveat: keep claims compliant in regulated niches — show the change, do not promise disease cures or guaranteed results. Setup details are at generate ads inside Claude.
8 before/after ad prompts
- Make a before/after ad for [cleaning product]. Before: a grimy stovetop under harsh kitchen light, a hand wiping once with visible effort. Hard cut to after: the same stovetop gleaming, same camera angle, same framing, one satisfied wipe with a cloth. Hold the after shot two full seconds. Match the angles exactly so the cut lands.
- Create a desk-transformation ad for [organization product]. Before: a cluttered work-from-home desk, cables everywhere, afternoon light. Time-lapse-style tidy-up, then after: the same desk clean with [product] doing the organizing, warm evening lamp. A woman gives one short line to camera at the end.
- Generate a morning-routine before/after for [hair or grooming product]. Before: a man in his 30s frowning at bedhead in the bathroom mirror, flat gray light. After: same mirror, hair styled, brighter framing, half-smile. Split the screen briefly at the end with both states side by side.
- Make a before/after ad for [posture or comfort product]. Before: a woman slumped at a laptop at a dining table, rubbing her neck, dim overcast light. After: same table, sitting upright with [product] in use, brighter room, relaxed shoulders. Voiceover-friendly pacing, product close-up between the two states.
- Create a closet before/after for [storage product]. Before: an overstuffed closet, clothes sliding off shelves, a hand shoving a door closed. After: the door opens smoothly onto neat rows with [product] visible. Same handheld angle both times, one "finally" style line to camera.
- Generate a pet-space transformation for [pet product]. Before: a living room corner scattered with chewed toys, a guilty-looking dog, midday light. After: the same corner tidy with [product] set up and the dog settled in it. The owner films selfie-style at the end explaining the change.
- Make a skin-texture style before/after for [skincare product] — kept compliant. Before: a woman inspecting dull, tired-looking skin in a mirror at close range, cool light. After: same framing, fresher-looking skin, warmer light, light touch of the cheek. No medical claims; frame it as her routine and how her skin looks to her.
- Create a meal-prep before/after for [kitchen product]. Before: a chaotic counter mid-cooking, three pans going, visible stress. After: the same counter with [product] in use, one pan, calm pacing, plated food. A man narrates the difference in his week over both shots.
Tips for editing these prompts
- Match the frames. The cut only works if before and after share the same angle and framing — say so explicitly in the prompt.
- Make the before honest. Exaggerated befores read as fake; a believable mess outperforms a staged disaster.
- Test both orders. Try after-first as a hook variant in a batch. More formats in the prompt library, scripts via the UGC script generator, and the format overview at AI UGC ads.
