Why multiple clips
A single generated shot often isn't enough to tell a full ad story. Splitting an ad into a hook clip, a demo or benefit clip, and a closing call-to-action clip gives you room to structure pacing, the way a lot of effective UGC-style ads are cut. Step-by-step: assembling a multi-clip ad
- Connect once. Add the Polaris MCP connector at polarisugc.com/api/mcp in Claude and authorize it.
- Plan the sequence in chat. Tell Claude the structure you want, for example a hook clip, a product-in-use clip, then a closing clip, and attach your product photo or script.
- Generate clip one. Ask for the first clip specifically. Claude will prompt you through tappable cards for settings like model (Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1 Quality or Fast, Seedance 2.0, or Omni for a talking actor) and other options.
- Repeat for each clip. Ask for the next clip in the same conversation, referencing the earlier one so the product and tone stay consistent.
- Let the panel render each one. Each request opens its own live Polaris panel showing progress, typically finishing in roughly 20 to 180 seconds per clip.
- Add voice, music, and captions. Layer in AI voiceover (ElevenLabs), music (Suno), and one-click burned-in captions on the clips that need them.
- Download and assemble. Pull the finished clips as a ZIP and put them in order in your usual editor, or hand the sequence straight to your ad platform.
The web app is a secondary surface if you prefer working outside chat, but generating clip-by-clip inside Claude is the primary, faster path.
Pro tips
- Keep the product photo and core brief consistent across every clip request so the actor, product, and setting don't drift between shots.
- Generate parallel takes of the hook clip specifically, since that's the shot viewers decide on fastest, then commit to one version for the rest of the sequence.
- Use Omni for any clip that needs a talking actor delivering your script directly, and one of the other video models for cutaways or product-only shots.
- Run failed renders through auto-refund rather than manually tracking credit spend, and re-request the clip if a take doesn't land.
Honest caveats
Each clip is generated around your own product and your own script; there's no stock-avatar library and no cloning of named real people, the AI actor simply delivers what you write. A multi-clip sequence still needs testing once assembled; a strong individual clip doesn't guarantee the full ad performs. If you're in a regulated niche, keep every clip's script compliant, no disease, cure, or guaranteed-result claims, even in a short cutaway shot.
