Kling 3.0 for Ads
The best all-round motion model in Polaris, with the only 1:1 ratio in the lineup
Kling 3.0 is the default video model for most ecommerce ads in Polaris: it renders 5-second (50 credits) or 10-second (100 credits) clips at 720p, 1080p, or 4K, in 9:16, 1:1, or 16:9 — and it is the only Polaris model that offers 1:1. If you are not sure which model to pick, start here.
What Kling 3.0 is best at
Kling's strength is all-round UGC motion. Hands picking up a product, a bottle turning on a counter, someone walking through frame — the everyday movement that makes a clip read as filmed rather than generated. For AI UGC ads where the product is the hero and the motion just needs to feel natural, Kling is usually the right call.
The 1:1 ratio matters more than it sounds. Square placements in feeds still convert, and no other model in the Polaris lineup can render them. If your media plan includes square, Kling is your only route.
Specs at a glance
- Durations: 5s (50 credits) or 10s (100 credits)
- Resolutions: 720p, 1080p, 4K
- Aspect ratios: 9:16, 1:1, 16:9 — the only Polaris model with 1:1
- Sound: optional AI sound add-on, +25 credits
When to pick it — and when not to
Pick Kling when you want reliable, natural product motion at a sane credit cost, when you need 1:1, or when you want a 10-second beat instead of the shorter clips other models cap at. On a Pro plan, 50-credit clips let you iterate a lot before the budget stings — see pricing for how credits map to volume.
The honest trade-offs: Kling does not speak. Sound is a paid add-on, and it is ambient audio, not native dialogue. If your ad hinges on an actor delivering a script to camera, use Omni; if you want native spoken dialogue baked into the render, Veo 3.1 handles that without an add-on. And like every generated clip, Kling output still needs real testing on real audiences — a good model does not exempt you from creative testing.
