This Policy describes what information Polaris collects, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Polaris Service.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Maverick International Enterprises LLC ("Polaris", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with the Polaris websites, applications, APIs, and services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy and to our Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

Account and profile information, such as your name and email address (including information from your Google sign-in), username, avatar, and store or brand details you enter. Content you submit to the Service, including prompts, product information, images, audio, and other media (your "Input"), and the content the Service generates for you ("Output"). Communications you send us, such as support requests.

Payment information

Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. We receive limited transaction and subscription information (such as plan, status, and confirmation) but do not collect or store your full payment-card details.

Information collected automatically

Usage and log data (such as actions taken, features used, generations requested, timestamps, and error data), device and connection data (such as IP address, browser type, and operating system), and information collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Information from third parties

Information from authentication providers (such as Google) when you sign in, and referral-attribution information (for example, which referral link brought you to us).

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • provide, operate, maintain, secure, and support the Service, including authenticating you, processing generations, and managing your account and billing;
  • develop, test, and improve the Service, our features, and our models and integrations, and to build new products;
  • personalize your experience and provide customer support;
  • measure and analyze usage, performance, and trends;
  • communicate with you, including service, security, and transactional messages, and, where permitted, marketing (you may opt out of marketing);
  • detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms; and
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements and rights.

We may create and use aggregated or de-identified information, which does not identify you, for any purpose, including operating and improving the Service.

4. AI processing of your content

To generate Output, your Input is processed by us and transmitted to and processed by third-party AI model and media providers that power the Service. Those providers process the data under their own terms and privacy practices. We may retain and process your Input and Output to provide, secure, debug, support, and improve the Service.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information as follows:

  • Service providers and subprocessors that perform functions on our behalf, such as cloud hosting, storage, database and authentication, payment processing, AI model and media generation, analytics, and email delivery. They may access information only to perform services for us.
  • Legal and safety: to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; to enforce our Terms; and to protect the rights, property, or safety of Polaris, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our assets, information may be transferred as part of the transaction.
  • With your direction or consent, or as otherwise disclosed at the time of collection.

Some sharing for analytics or advertising may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under certain U.S. state laws; see "Your rights and choices" below.

6. Cookies and tracking technologies

We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, secure the Service, measure and improve performance, and attribute referrals. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features of the Service may not function properly without them. Where required by law, we obtain consent for non-essential cookies.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our agreements. We may retain aggregated or de-identified information indefinitely. When we no longer need information, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for the security of the devices you use to access the Service.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of it, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to opt out of certain sharing or targeted advertising. You can update your profile and delete your account from your account settings.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our processing is based on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service, your consent where required, and compliance with law; you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

10. International data transfers

We are based in the United States and process and store information there and in other countries where we or our providers operate. These countries may have data-protection laws that differ from those in your country.
